Partnered with PAN, Health Care Without Harm “has been working to eliminate chemical risks from healthcare since it was founded in 1996.” So far Kaiser Permanente hosts more then 20 farmers’ markets at their hospitals because “food grown locally arrives fresh and packaged with nutrients (with les oil burned and less CO2 produced). Stanford Medical Center serves organic produce to patients. Hospitals are starting to a revolution and are setting the example for what people should be consuming.
